This pub is great, the staff are helpful and friendly but I just paid £16 for two hot chocolates (chocolate milk)

Last weekend we celebrated my daughter's birthday. Great atmosphere! Amazing , delicious food!!! Friendly stuff,we had a great party !!! Definitely will come back again

Quick lunch stop with client. Seems like a nice place, steak was nothing special, but ok for the price. Service was a little slow, but staff were doing well on a very hot day. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely atmosphere, nice staff and good food, was really quiet when we went so food came out pretty quick and it was fab! No straws, not sure if they just ran out or not though.. Heaters outside for the smokers.. Had a lovely lunch

The food's absolutely delicious. The music was almost at perfect level throughout the entire day last time I was there. Customer service at a very high level. Strongly recommend trying once and you'll be coming back from your own review. I know I am! :D

Amazing local pub, great food options and a large selection of drinks and wines on offer! They also do a cracking pub quiz every week! Upstairs they have a private room for hire, it has its own bar and a secret entrance. The service was great and the food was amazing, gastro-home cooking at its best. First time there and I’ll definitely be back. It’s a super cozy place with a great atmosphere. There’s a front room with mismatched seating for just lounging, socializing, and drinking, there’s a bigger back room for dining. The music playing is modern and fun (I sang song to most songs)! The staff are very professional and warm. Most importantly however, the menu is very wellcthought out and the execution is excellent. I really enjoyed my meal

After a friendly start where we were all enjoying drinks, our meal descended into farce when we the waitress forgot one of our orders, after we had lent her a pen to write them all down. Poor Sally had to wait an extra 15 minutes for her meal while we had nearly finished ours. When the pie came it was missing the cabbage that was on the menu, so Sally had to wait again for that to arrive. By this stage I think the waitress was trying to avoid us, and we had to find someone for a dessert order. After desserts we tried to order coffee, only to be told “ no coffee’s available as they had already cleaned the machine “!! This was explained to me as helping the staff to be able to leave earlier! 1st visit here for food even though we’ve had a pleasant experience going for drinks previously. Took the gamble of booking a table for food when friends of ours came to visit. Our overall experience was ok but not great. Positives: nice location, good decor, spacious, clean, excellent drinks selection which were all well served. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Negatives: the pub was quiet, but the service wasn’t particularly attentive. We kept having to go to the bar to find someone when we wanted more drinks even though it was table service.
