The Cock Inn - Speisekarte

Came here for lunch with a pal on 22nd December. Great, friendly service. Lovely warm bar with a roaring log fire. Excellent food which was very reasonably priced. A great discovery and I'll be returning again soon.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic. The bar staff is very friendly and the beer and food are both delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the high quality of the food. Overall, a great value for delicious food!

Lunch at this restaurant was excellent, the ale was superb, and the service was top-notch. However, the landlord's attitude was disappointing. The ambiance was lovely with a cozy fire, and dining in a pub from 1799 was a unique experience.

We had a lovely morning at Chartwell and then went to the **** Inn for lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly attentive. We sat outside at the tables in front of the pub, which was a very pretty space, and were served promptly. Fresh flowers in the ladies was a lovely touch.

The menu looked alright, but several options were off. That 's ok it happens. But what did arrive was just horrible. The landlord was rude when I tried to politely talk about the cold rubbery meat. A real shame, because a really characterful pub with loads of potential. Shame about the rude landlord who couldn 't care less.

We love this pub and the food here is great. Amazingly low prices (compared to others in the Sevenoaks area) and a proper ‘pub food’ menu, Everything we’ve tried on the menu has been lovely- simple, no fuss, quality food. So nice to have a pub that’s not gone all fancy (and expensive) and serves tasty food and good beer. What more could you ask for after a long walk?

I visited this pub on 07/03/22 at 12 midday, and would avoid visiting again. The landlord is unwelcoming and rude, indeed whilst seated I witnessed his rudeness directed at four elderly guests who got up and left. He also extended this to another table of four guests who returned their food. I felt sorry for the bar staff who were pleasant and friendly despite working for this unfortunate man.

Lovely traditional pub in picturesque area overlooking village green. Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed!! Good lamb roast with all trimmings just like home cooking and reasonably priced £14.00 Vegetarian option available. Good old tradition puds with choice of cream, custard or ice cream . Dont be out off seeing reserved notices on the table speak to bar staff and they will find a table for you . Lovely friendly staff . Will be back !!

We went to this restaurant for lunch and arrived shortly after a group of hikers. The atmosphere of the pub was cozy, with low ceilings and an old-fashioned charm. Unfortunately, the hikers were taking a while to order their drinks, and then the owner insisted on taking their food orders one by one. Despite the hikers being fine with us ordering in between, the owner wanted to take all their orders first. After waiting for about 20 minutes with our boots off as requested, we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. It's a shame because the last time we visited this pub about 15 years ago, we didn't feel welcome either, despite changes in staff. It was disappointing to have a similar experien...
