I fought for lunch here. the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. highly recommended.

I had a great time at the restaurant. The service was outstanding. It would be nice to see one or two more vegetarian options on the menu.

a real pub, cozy, pleasant and friendly. the beautiful is that it is not a viehmarkt or a scheune. it feels sensitive. there is a restaurant and a few outside spaces. what is there not to like. Speisekarte ansehen

Really enjoyed lunch here. Great service and great food. A good selection of different food on the menu. We weren’t rushed at all. Although it was busy the service was good and staff were friendly . Would definitely go again

Cosy gastropub that serves tasty gourmet burgers. Service was attentive and the wine selection here is surprisingly extensive. Would give five stars if sauces were supplied in bottles/small bowls rather than sachets which can be very difficult to open with greasy fingers.

My family and I booked a table for Easter Sunday lunch at this restaurant, as we had not dined here since before the pandemic. We were delighted with the service and the food was delicious. As picky eaters, we were pleased that all of our specific requests were met without any issues. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. So, yeah it was good. The four of us had different mains which we all enjoyed. It's was a little cold though, which isn't great when you want to spend time at the table, I noticed a couple of diners kept their coats on. Lovely roaring fire heat at the bar but that that didn't extend to the restaurant. We'll definitely visit again if we're in the area but perhaps when the weather warms up!

The food quality at this restaurant is very good, with an interesting and varied menu. One criticism I have is that the set lunch menu only offers a choice of starter and main course. I wanted to choose the vegetarian option from the set menu, but was unable to substitute a pudding instead of a starter. It seemed a bit restrictive not to have any pudding options on the set menu, allowing diners to choose their preferred two courses.

the burgers are gourmet quality. I expected a typical pubburger. no! absolutely delicious seasoned bark with perfectly cooked speck, a large piece of cheese and delicious fresh vegetables. the pommes were also pretty good. it's doubtful that after eating you have a place for dessert. do not let the outer of this place fool them. it may look like a regular pub, but eating that they serve is much better than they originally expect. service was friendly and very attentive. will be back soon.
