The Cottage Inn - Speisekarte

Went for lunch with my sister today and the food was amazing. Such good variety and presented so beautifully. Great value and it was lovely to be sitting next to the log burner!

The staff is very friendly, the prices are great, and the Sunday lunch tastes just like home-cooked. I have been here four times and each time the service and food have been excellent.

The food served here is absolutely delicious! Great selection of vegetarian dishes, frequently changed choices. Wonderful, friendly, attentive staff. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner by the roaring log fire for a friends birthday. A MUST to visit and dine. You will not be disappointed.

This pub is fantastic for families and dog owners. We had a party of 17 celebrating our Dad's 75th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by arranging banners and balloons for our table. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area.

We dropped in unannounced after making a mistake with another Inn in a different area. The staff were great and squeezed us in despite being really rushed off their feet. We chose the Cottage Inn to celebrate our father's 75th birthday while we were in the area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our celebration special by adding balloons and banners to our table. The food was both plentiful and delicious, of top quality. We couldn't find a single fault with our experience and will definitely be returning. Thank you for helping to make our weekend memorable.

If we're going to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch we always go to the Cottage. It's not a carvery, it's brought/served to your table so you haven't got the bun fight of queuing up. Had a nice table for two in the bar near the log burner so we were toasty and warm. The food meat, Yorkshire pud and vegetables are all beautifully cooked and the gravy is to die for. Wouldn't have minded a dessert but I was just too stuffed. Staff are very polite, friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend.

Stopped here for lunch because it looked like a decent family run free house country pub an were not disappointed! One of the best steaks I've ever had and I've had a few! Local meat cooked with skill and respect Chios and garnish too notch , peppercorn sauce excellent Also I have to nod to the chef for making gluten free batter and sauces , it's so great to make food inclusive and a clearly labelled menu stating gluten free makes it so unfussy and removes the stigma !!!
