After reading glowing reviews we decided to go for a Sunday Roast. Very disappointing, beef was tough, roast potatoes hard as bullets, vegetables very poor quality. Will not return.

This pub I would give 10s all round really welcoming and really friendly I came with my work they would really helpful could not ask for a better Service the food was good to perfection and they are really fast

we are here several times. each time for different events and with and without children. drinks are quite expensive, but others than all the staff are friendly and eating is nice. we have a great time here. one of the coworkers, especially chucky. is great fun and always takes my fussy eating little sister. that is very appreciated.

You know when you get a supermarket sandwich and there isn’t actually any filling in the middle back of the sandwich? Ordered a cheese and chutney sandwich, could have made a better one at home. Cheap quality cheese grated with a marginal amount of...chutney. Service was fine, staff friendly, the sandwich was just a bit naff and not worth the money. Wouldn’t reccomend.

We ate here on a monday evening, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Masks have to be worn while moving around in pub, not at the table. The food was cooked to perfection, I had sirloin steak medium with a peppar sauce so tender...and juicy. My wife had steak and ale pie, and my daughter had chicken burger. We were all very happy with mains and sweets. Our vompliments to the chef. Will definitely be returning soon.

six of us booked here on Saturday lunch. as it turned out, we didn't really have to book because there was enough space available. friendly staff. good service. eating was not spectacular, but then we were not looking for something spectacular, just a Saturday lunch with the family. eating came pretty fast. that was all we needed. the meat cake was a bit dry, but the rest was ok including burger, fischburger, etc. 75 pfuss with a round softdrinks. not bad. we're coming back.

Came here on a Sunday for a roast dinner. Pork was 40% fat and we found the portions very small for the price. 3 tiny roast potatoes each. Large wine also expensive at £6.85. Not asked to sign in for track trace. Toilets completely...disgusting which given the current circumstances and that they had only just opened, there was no excuse. Toilet roll dispenser empty, and spare toilet roll was just sat on the floor. Toilet brush was dirty. The only positive was the beautiful garden.

here earlier in the year to come and did not know that there was such a decent little pub, decent beer on, fair prices, really nice house cooked eating also, which is also a good price. quite often they go down now, always made to feel. welcome, and the garden is beautiful in the sun! that chucky too, is a real babe has she always love with a giggle, has children who follow her around mesmerized and give to the miserable customers embrace. true she should not be hidden in the kitchen, she is the best hostess with most (oi oi,) I have seen in a pub for esel years!

beautiful and welcoming looking pub but this is about eating a few weeks ago for an early evening, ordered a pint of tribute, which was flat without head at all, so settled for another ale that was completely open was no different. a week later we thought we would give it another try, the ale was not different, the barmann asked if we were to eat, and I said well yes, but not yet, but within few minutes I was asked the same question, but again said, not at the moment, then less than 2 minutes later from a young lady in a filthy cook white cover from a dirty gray hoodie we actually felt to be honest
