Great Sunday roast. Great choice of meat. Tons of veg, cauliflower cheese, greens, beans, roast potatoes and more. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff.

The Sunday carvery was outstanding! The meat was delicious and perfectly cooked, and there was a great selection of desserts, all complemented by a tasty gravy. The staff were very friendly, and the prices were very affordable.

I dine and drink here often, and last night I stayed in one of the new hotel rooms. The food was fantastic, the drink selection was great, and the staff was beautiful. The room was excellent as well! I highly recommend the Krone.

I was provided with earplugs in the bedroom due to the nightclub downstairs that kept playing music until the early hours of the morning. The common areas appeared dirty, and the decor seemed outdated and worn. The bedroom itself was acceptable, but there was no parking available. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 3, the service a 2, and the location a 2.

I had dinner at the restaurant called The Crown. The food was delightful, and everything was cooked to perfection. The rosemary chips were large yet wonderfully crispy in all the right spots. It was quite quiet since it was the first Monday they were open for dinner, but we were still served with the same level of care and respect as if there were other customers present.

Decided to try the Crown in Fakenham as they do a Carvery on a Sunday, but what swayed us even more to go there was they allow dogs and there is a Dog Menu. We did phone a couple of days before to make sure we would get a table, which was in the bar because we were taking our dog. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our table. We ordered drinks non alcoholic for me and a coke for the wife, and ordered and paid for our Carvery at the same time. Our dog had a Carvery too he could choose between Beef or Turkey, he had the Turkey with roast spuds, veg and Yorkshire pudding obviously no gravy.
