The Curry Cafe - Speisekarte

One of the best curry house ever seen around seen. Portion is excellent with a reasonable price. Worthy to visit once.

Its a small but cosy cafe with great food and very nice and helpfull staff. Love their lamb kebab. Good take away service aswell.

Service is amateur but that doesn't detract from this place. Bring your own booze (offie next door) for great value. The taste of all the food was fantastic so please give it a try. Even your old favourites will taste amazing, I promise.

Great atmosphere calming jazz music while we enjoyed a tasty meal. We has the pakora, which was super delicious and the dipping sauces were awesome! The curries we had were also delicious you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. The customer service...was brilliant. You won't be disappointed when you go here

Visited the restaurant with a voucher we had bought, the starters were tasty and plentiful, currys were kinda the same although we had two different currys (tikka masala and rogan josh) which should be completely different. But were tasty none the least, lamb was very...tender. And nan bread was lovely. Would visit again if I waa in the area. Also byob. Always a plus!

We visited here last night on a voucher and were not disappointed. Several words spring to mind! Fresh everything we had was tasty and fresh. Delicious our favourites were the fish Lahore (my partner said it was the nicest thing he had ever...tasted and the lamb rogan gosh (melt in the mouth). Homely we felt very relaxed here and loved the Indian music. Service the lady and gent serving were just lovely. As I said go!

We ate here as a group of recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'd had carry out from here before and we got a voucher online so decided to try eating in. The food and service were excellent. The menu is brief but with...enough variety to give some choice. The restaurant have clearly decided to focus on doing a smaller number of dishes we'll rather than having the huge menu you get in many curry houses which so often results in bland dishes. Would strongly recommend.

There are many, many good Indian restaurants and choosing a good one can be hard. There is a huge range of quality among those around in Edinburgh. This one is something special quality chicken and lamb, all courses cooked to order, and a concentration...on quality rather than on fancy colours and heat. Our starters and mains were excellent. On a recent visit to Edinburgh my girlfriend and I were looking for a decent curry house, we found this one through TripAdvisor's City Guide App (Highly recommended if you're in this part of Scotland). The restaurant itself has limited space but this only serves...to add to the charm of the place.
