"Just down the road from the local Aldi store. Plenty of car park spaces out front. Hand sanitiser on entry and the place looked clean and tidy. Lovely warm welcome from the young lady behind the counter. The tables have been segregated and have screens between them. Each table also has a note, advising how many people can sit on there with regards to social distance measures. Not everyone wore masks I always thought it was compulsory in Wales? I had the veggie breakfast. They only do the 1 size at £9.45. The portions are generous and the veggie sausage tasted lovely. Not sure about the vegetarian bacon ? It smelt like bacon but if your a veggie do you really want to be reminded of bacon? I thought it was bit strange, but overall a great breakfast and lovely service with a smile."

"We visited as a family on holiday, looking for a good Sunday Lunch and found ourselves in this surprisingly big cafe/restaurant. It was busy yet the tables were nicely spaced out and the establishment was clean and tidy. We each ordered a roast dinner and some drinks, and we weren’t disappointed by size. There was plenty of food and I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of cauliflower cheese to the dish, which I haven’t had for quite some time and it was delicious. The one critique I had with the meal is that the beef was a bit dry, possibly over-cooked and just a bit hard to eat. But the rest of the meal I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I also had a glimpse of other tables’ food coming out and I must admit the burgers looked phenomenal. We will remember this as a good spot for lunch when we visit again in the future. I would definitely recommend."

"Service was first rate and the food was generally delicious. Everyone had to pre order and pre pay, so it was a really nice touch that the place cards not only had the names but also on the underside were the menu choices for each person. The Festive Menu food was well presented and generally, the food was tasty and adequate. It was nice, for instance, that the carrots were not over cooked and had plenty of flavour. One diner felt that the turkey was a bit lacking in flavour, but she is a Cordon Bleu. There also seemed to be an issue that the stuffing balls appeared to be something like pork stuffing, not the anticipated sage and onion, although the menu only said stuffing anyway. Those who had the gilt head bream felt that the portion size was a bit on the small side unlike ordering bream in Greece, where you get the whole fish! As ever, the chefs handled special dietary requirements with perfect attention to detail, with exclusions and substitutions accordingly. I'd certainly be glad to repeat and to recommend the venue and the Festive Menu. We have often eaten here and never been disappointed, usually just as a couple or small groups, so it was interesting to see how efficient the catering was for the 40 50 party size."
