disappointed. bier was flat, ciabatta was stodgy, burger was fussy and not great. real shame as it has been for years, we are here and was not where close as well as we remember.

Recently had an excellent cream tea here, mix of fruit and plain scones, warmed which was nice. Very generous portions of cream and jam, and enough tea in pots for 2 cups each. Very friendly staff as usual.

Had the carvery here, it was absolutely delicious everything was perfect best roast i have had in a long time.Staff were busy but still took time to speak to us to ask if everything was ok. I will definitely be visiting again.

visited here with a big party of 10 that included children and dogs. personal friendly and courteous (bulls of water, the dogs also arrived food very fast for a large order and no complaining, beautiful selection at desserts also. everyone was happy and would soon see again. Speisekarte ansehen

Popped in for a sunday lunch for me and the wife on a whim. Very welcoming. Lovely setting. Quite busy but the service was very quick and the food was fantastic. So whoever is running the kitchen there is doing an excellent job. All the...staff were great with us and very friendly. Absolutely reccomend this place. 10/10

We stayed for four nights the bed was very comfortable and room very clean. Great views looking over at the boats and Plymouth across the water. The food was very nice and costs were in keeping with other places close by. Staff were so friendly...and couldn’t do enough for us. It was a great relaxing place to stay. Thank you all.

We booked for a 2.30 pm Sunday lunch and travelled to get there. However, when seated at our table we were told no Sunday lunches were available. They had run out! The limited bar menu was so disappointing even if they hadn't run our ot...humus and baps for the burgers. An absolute nightmare for what was planned to be a special occasion for us. brother and sister in law visited from wales. visited mount edgecombe to go the dog and later immersed. we just wanted to have a drink, but stayed at lunch. meals were nice and fresh served really fast by really friendly staff. I've never...been kiel and kartoffel soup so thick, but it was delicious. ciabattas and pate were also beautiful. well made team, we'll be back

Just spent two very lovely days at The Edgcumbe Arms and would highly recommend it. The rooms are very comfortable, food was top class and the staff could not do more for us. There are great walks from the front door along the coastal path,...so our visit to Cawsand, through the gardens of Edgcumbe House was was stunning. Our dog loved it too (very dog friendly Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back!
