Our 1st visit tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent, most enjoyable meal for some Time. Service and surroundings were also top draw. Would highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I often stop for lunch when passing...Gavin Katie have got it right. Excellent chef who really knows how to turn classic fusion cooking into something special without it costing the earth. I was invited to a 50th birthday party, and the upstairs room was perfect for the occasion. It's well-kept and clean. The buffet was good, although it could have used more accompaniments for the cold meats, like apple sauce, horseradish, and mustard. The sausage rolls were excellent, but the frittata was a bit lacking and watery. Overall, I would definitely return to try the restaurant's food. Please consider getting Doom Bar ale. We went for Sunday roast, the staters were amazing! Venison shoulder and bruschetta. The mains took more than hour and a half to come, a table that ordered after ours was served first. When the order arrived they didn't bring the sides, we had to ask for more, we were 3 and they brought sides for 2 people only. They didn't offer more water or drinks, didn't picked up the dishes when we finished, or offered the dessert menu. I understand that the place can get busy but water/drinks and picking up the dishes are basics.
