we were here with friends yesterday and the food and the service was fantastic. we will definitely be back, the rubarb and ingwer gin is one.

Gorgeous food and fantastic service. We were looked after perfectly from the moment we arrived. Would recommend the prawn and scallop ravioli.

We just had lunch with our son, and it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming, and the staff were very friendly. However, the service was a bit slow considering the number of staff on duty, which wasn’t too high.

We had a family dinner here (just the adults) and everything was perfect! The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the food is fantastic! We tried the salmon en croûte, ravioli, and stroganoff, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be coming back!

The best place we dined in Ambleside was truly excellent. The food was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The slight premium we paid for the quality of the food, drinks, and service was well worth it, as the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely choose to eat here again on our next visit.
