Went for Christmas work do. Food and entertainment was fantastic and great value for money, highly recommend

The menu is great and prices are reasonable at this restaurant. The staff is wonderful and all the food is fresh. Our group of 12 all enjoyed the dishes they chose.

You walk into the pub and there’s nothing particularly fancy about the place. Staff are friendly and there’s a lovely seating area. The menu is extensive. I choose the two meat sizzler. Wow. Amazing. The chips are proper home made and to die for. Beautiful meal. Love it here Speisekarte ansehen

I just arrived home after enjoying the best meal we have had in a while. The staff were fantastic, and the food was delicious with large portions. I ordered the tandoori sizzler and ended up taking the rest of my chicken home with me. Thank you very much, can't wait to come back xx

Popped in for tea as we hadn't been here for a long time. We bought drinks from the bar and ordered food from the table, we both had steak and ale pie it was delicious the steak melted in your mouth. Service was good they were really friendly the only thing I don't like is the table set up it feels like a school canteen other than that it was really nice.

First time here won't be the last. I had the mix griil my wife had the chicken and bacon salad. My mix grill was a proper mixed grill with loads of well cooked fresh meat this best I've had to be honest. My wife said the same of her salad fresh and well cooked. We both couldn't resist the sticky toffee pudding which was again wonderful. Abbot ale 100% perfect. Highly recommended great staff no waiting for the food. Speisekarte ansehen

We went to this restaurant for a family meal. An older woman who claimed to be the bar manager came to serve us. One of our guests who has autism was having difficulty speaking, but the woman rudely told her to hurry up because our table was only booked for an hour. She then walked off as if serving us was an inconvenience. The food was not the best. As we were finishing our drinks, we were all horrified to see the same woman shout at an elderly gentleman because his walking stick had fallen on the floor, calling it a tripping hazard. She completely humiliated the poor man. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

We have been to the Furlong many times, and had a nice meal. Today it was awful. My wife had the steak and ale pie, and the pastry was rock hard, the steak was as tough as old boots, and the gravy was just a jelly. I will give them credit when we complained they did change it for the fish and chips, which we decided would be better as they explained the pie was on a tray and would be the same. When the meal came the fish was not cooked it was still raw. we complained and they offered a sweet which we refused ,and still charged us full price. I don't mind paying top price for good food, but this was a joke. Will never go there again and if you do be careful of the fish

Booked a evenings out with friends, arrived Seated at table then things started going downhill. The waitress never offered menus so after 15 minutes we got some of the bar. Still no service called the staff member after another 10 minutes when she was serving another table. Food ordered and it came quickly and the food was very good. Staff collected dishes took our orders for desserts, again felt totally abandoned as after going and reminding the staff about our order after an hour of no further service we decided to call it a day with no dessert delivery. Completely disappointed with the service and informed staff of that effect. Food recommended service worse I have experienced in years. Speisekarte ansehen
