First visit under the new management. Fabulous food with very attentive service from staff that care. We will be back as 'regulars '. Just a great experience with food that is difficult to beat and very acceptable prices.

Another stunning Sunday lunch. Perfect roast beef- perfectly pink, wonderful, light Yorkshire pudding, crisp and fluffy roast potatoes plus excellent fresh veg add up to the ideal lunch. Well done Roger, Emie and team- our favourite pub!!

Stopped off for a bite while out walking. The grilled sandwich and Caesar salad were gorgeous. My wife said she didn’t want the salad to end, the best she tasted for a along time. First visit since being taken over and will be back to try the pies. Like the sound of them !!

Excellent meal and service. Food was really good quality and well presented. Quantity was spot on. We had an eclectic mix of dietary needs gluten/ lactose/ shell fish), which were fully catered for. Service is really good and staff are friendly and interested in getting it right for you.

Went to the George after spending a day at the air show. Looking forward to a few beers and a nice pub dinner. Very disappointed to find a fast food van in the car park and having to pay £2 deposit for a plastic beer glass. Even the wine was served in a plastic beaker. I’m 60 NOT 6 Definitely won’t be back if this is how it is.
