I found plastic in my takeaway food very disappointing food was delivered and was hot only let down was the plastic

Excellent quality food, adapted as requested for the fussy eaters in our party. Drinks were reasonably priced and the service was friendly and efficient.

Our first time of having a Chinese meal from the George lovely fresh and tasty Chinese meal staff very pleasant and delivery time was spot on we will definately be ordering again.

Ordered takeaway from here countless times and have visited the restaurant numerous times. Prices very reasonable delivery service spot on and timings spot on and food great. Keep up the good work!

Two hours after ordering, the takeaway finally turned up. I wouldn’t mind but it was ordered as soon as they opened and we only live 10 minutes away. That and the fact it wasn’t a small order. Not sure we’ll be using them again unless they’re the last Chinese on this earth!

The food is always good but the past couple of times we have used the take away service the service has been awful. We were made to wait an additional hour on top of the collection time last week and this time the delivery man was rude and said he would not deliver again because I took too long to open the door due to our bell being faulty!!!

Very poor and rude service from Alice. On more than one occasion have found her hair in our food. Very snappy and rude woman. Girls behind the desk couldn’t do enough and are often rushed off their feet with phone calls, tables and walk ins but still get talked down to very frequently by bosses. Food is very mediocre and very overpriced. Wouldn’t rush a visit here anytime soon.

We went there as a group of 6 and to be honest it was a real mixed bag. The service from the 2 counter staff was great. Cannot fault that, the service from the person (ALice i think) who took the order and I presume cooks was poor. Very snappy and not welcoming. Correct me if im wrong but I expect to have prawn crackers given complimentary when having a Chinese meal now (you get them from take aways), however we were abruptly told by Alice no they were not. The food itself was also a mix, I have S&S chicken balls with special fried rice. The rice was nice the chicken had so much batter and little chicken it was almost inedible. Another dish (again chicken) look like chicken covered in tripe...

How rude. Over a couple of hundred pounds spent in deliveries over the last year but will not be ordering again. When the minimum order is £20 for delivery but the owner then decides to tell you on your own doorstep the conditions for a delivery on Fridays and Saturdays it beggars belief. Enjoy your Chinese. The quality of the food is good. But we will NOT be giving this restaurant any further custom. Clearly the owner has NO understanding of customer service. We do not expect to be given a lecture about when they can and cannot deliver on our own doorstep. If their are conditions regarding the delivery service then update your takeaway menu.
