Good pub for a social night out. Unfortunately food no longer offered as the restaurant closed a few months ago. Well kept beers and good company.

This beautifully decorated pub serves above-average pub food. I treated my mom to a nice lunch and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere without any children present during our visit.

Enjoyed a family meal. A wonderful bundle of joy, Olivia, kept the kids entertained, made our group so comfortable. A honest happy lady. If my food and drink is served with bundles of joy and energy, then a 1st class meal was extra special. The kids eat their greens and don't whine for a McDonald's when they're looked after.

I was extremely let down by my experience at this restaurant. My friend and I went for Sunday lunch and waited for half an hour without anyone coming to take our order. When the chef finally approached us to ask if we had ordered, we hadn't and continued to wait. After waiting for a total of an hour without any service, we decided to leave.

We recently visited here for my wife’s birthday on a friday night with the whole family, and the staff were incredible! As since you can drink for free on your birthday my wife was made to feel so at ease as they were so attentive, we didn’t have to even ask for another round of drinks before they asked us! The bar staff were very down to earth and jolly. Will definitely be returning!

Mothers day. Booking for 7.30. Cancelled 3pm Sunday..told kitchen was closed by then and bar maid made a mistake with the booking. Tried to ring at least 10 times leading up to this weekend. Had to call, told phones don't work! !!! Really, it's a business!!! Phone was answered a few times but put down so didn't have to speak! Pretty bad service.....,also barmaids too busy chatting to serve?! Not good Service at the moment.....

The appetizers were satisfactory, with everyone enjoying the garlic mushrooms served with a warm ciabatta roll. The roast beef was overdone and the Yorkshire puddings appeared to be frozen. Despite requesting extra gravy, it was not provided. The roast potatoes were soggy. The vegetarian burger was tasty, but served in a stale bun. The French fries were limp, indicating that the oil may not have been hot enough. Although we reported these issues, no replacement was offered, only an apology. On a positive note, my husband found the Saltaire Blonde beer to be excellent. The staff were multitasking by serving both drinks and taking food orders indoors and outdoors.
