We were there for a wedding. A perfect venue with fantastic staff. We stayed over, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed after a night of dancing! 10/10 for breakfast again the staff were friendly and attentive. Located near the river Tyne the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful weekend and would totally recommend The Golf Tavern Rooms: 5

I booked this restaurant for a long weekend getaway and it did not disappoint. The staff were attentive and helpful, the bar had a great atmosphere with friendly regulars always up for a chat. The food in the restaurant was delicious with large portions. John the chef and Juliet the waitress were fantastic and went above and beyond for us. I would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed an evening here and thoroughly enjoyed it, great welcome and a brilliant wee bar. Rooms are clean and comfy, they could benefit from a lick of paint . Very tasty breakfast served by Jordan , very polite young man and Danni in the bar couldn't do enough for us. Will 100% come again, we ate out but if the eve meal is as good as the breakfast it should be a winner. Rooms: Clean , comfy, tired Food drinks: Hot, tasty, fresh Rooms: 3

Very nice inside but staff bar people who have disabilities when not violent or abusive in any way they support local drunks joyriding mobility scooter s and bar the one who reports it Lorraine very unwelcoming overpriced food poorly cooked some rooms have no windows and toilet next to radiator every week police get called from rowdy locals think twice the mainland field is just quarter mile away lot better mind if reporting to Google to include you're cctv will show the truth I didn't allow locals to joy ride a scooter you did

A most intriguing one night stay. This was my first visit this wee gem of a Tavern and restaurant, hidden from sight in Haddington ! Welcoming, friendly staff. My room was very clean and comfortable. A nicely finished shower room. Several bathroom extras should you be in need ! My evening meal in the warm, traditional pub style restaurant was excellent. I had the Sizzling Chicken Fajitas. What a superb challenge high quality food and a generous portion. There is also an old style dance floor but no dancing tonight too full after dinning ! I had traditional Scottish breakfast excellent. Nothing more to be said except that I'll certainly be back. Hamish McSporran.
