"Both mains were very good but starter was awful. My wife had dessert which she said was excellent. However the 'americanos ' were just plain filter coffee. They were charged as americanos. The Maitre D who took payment never bothered to ask how the meal was or reference the fact that we had to send one course back as inedible so I did not tip which is something I always do even if the food isn 't great but service is good. I will not be back."

Great new menu, beautiful atmosphere and spot in service. One of the easiest places for a nice dinner in and around Dalkey... we will be back

The furnishings, lighting and atmosphere in the room are beautiful. Food and service well. The open kitchen meant the smells of cooking, where quite strong. But overall, impressed by Mapas.

Super fast service of two friendly young men. The manager also came to our table to see if everything was okay. The staff was very trained and it was nice to see a chef! I look forward to the next time....

We had a wonderful celebration dinner for my husband's birthday at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and well-trained, and the service was excellent. We didn't feel rushed, which is a common issue we've experienced at other restaurants in the area.

We had a fantastic date night at a charming restaurant. We opted for the set menu on a Sunday evening and found the quality and value for money to be exceptional. The staff were attentive and pleasant throughout our meal. The food and wine were both excellent. We will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I had a great meal, could not fault anything. We will return again if we stay in the hotel. My wife loved her steak and my fish was perfect. We loved the touch of the teddy bears dotted around the various tables to help with social distancing, it was a great idea and much better than just a sign. We had to take some photos with them,nice touch.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Food was barely average. We felt the food was preprepared and was dry and bland. We were seated at 6 pm. And were finished at 640 pm. A very rushed meal. Not once did any member of staff asked if everything was OK wit the meal. We will not be going to to this restaurant again. The manager had no management skills whatsoever.
