Beers well kept, food is unfussy, reasonably priced and tastes good. The kitchen is small so sometime food can take a while but the quality is usually very good.

We had an hour to grab a quick bite to eat and this little pub didn’t fail. Lovely warm service. Very reasonably priced.. Really nice fresh traditional pub food. Looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant was so cold we had to sit in our coats to eat. We waited a long time for the food but the food was 10/10. Waitresses nice but more interested in chatting about their social life. Been here many times and would still come back.

The pub was cold and I had to keep my coat on. The chips were the worst I've ever had, with some of them being undercooked. I would not want to eat there again. It's okay for a drink when the weather is warmer and it's better to sit outside. However, I won't be in a hurry to go back.

The restaurant was extremely cold, so much so that we had to wear coats to stay warm. The pastry on my cheese and onion pie was so hard that I needed a hammer and chisel to cut it, and the meat on my wife's Sunday dinner was so tough that she needed a hacksaw to cut it. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

On my second visit to the hare hounds today we went for food at lunchtime it's a great pub the ambiance is very welcoming both times we had a great meal staff are polite helpfull attentive the food was delicious beautiful.cooked and well presented all arrived in good time too I loved the place and will continue to visit highly recommended

Had lunch here today served by very pleasant, helpful waiting staff. Good selection of main meals lighter dishes. We chose a small portion gammon, egg garden peas chips and a small portion battered fish, chips mushy peas. Served quickly and piping hot. It's nice to have the option of large or small portion dishes, particularly at lunchtime. We will certainly be back.

I attended this restaurant on Saturday for my stepdad's surprise 60th birthday party. The staff were wonderful, and the kitchen team provided catering for the event. They even set up a tent outside to serve the food in. The menu included curry, rice, chips, homemade cheese and onion pie, salad, and coleslaw for around £7 per person. We had half of the pub reserved for our party, along with 2 bar staff and homemade sausage rolls on the bar. Guests were greeted with prosecco upon arrival, costing £15 per bottle. The staff were accommodating, catering to various dietary requirements and even bringing in limoncello upon request. They allowed us to bring in our own cake and balloons ahead of time...

My partner and I went to this pub/restaurant for the very 1st time on Friday 1st July, I foned beforehand to make a table reservation as I was told it can be very busy on a Friday evening. I booked the Table for 7.30pm and we were about 15mins early, so no problem, we sat down and ordered drinks first, by the time the drinks arrived, we were ready to order our food, my partner ordered the 5oz gammon steak with all the trimmings and a few mushrooms to go with it as well, I ordered the batterd Cod Fish with chips mushy peas. I think after ordering the meals it was about 10mins when we were given our food, I have to say that both meals were very nice an the plates were Hot too. It was very busy...
