The Hedgehog Vintage Inn

I found this place quite wonderful. Great food, amazing atmosphere (family friendly yet quaint and romantic). Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely garden makes this a great spot on a summer day. Food and drink are reasonable fare, not outstanding but reasonably priced and service friendly. Stupid car park where inconsiderate people block everyone else in though!

I had a wonderful pint and sat outside in the sun on a Sunday during the bank holiday weekend in August. It was really pleasant, although I didn't eat, they were having a barbecue and it smelled delicious. I will definitely go back.

This is not somewhere I would particularly choose to go but it is ok for a meeting place on the way to town. It is a typical franchise pub with no individuality, the food is ok but there can be a big wait. The staff are friendly enough and drink prices are reasonable for Lichfield

This is quite a nice little pub, it is comfortable but it can get very busy at peak times. The beer is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly enough. Expect to have a big wait on food if at peak times and sometimes it can be a bit poor but the menu is quite good with a variety of choices.

This restaurant should be renamed "The Hedgehogs Testicles" because that accurately describes my frustrating experience at this outdated establishment. Words like tired, medieval, and nonsensical come to mind before thinking of hedgehogs. If I were to name it after the owner, I would call it "The Bell End".

This is a great pub with delicious food, perfect for bringing your kids along. There is ample space both indoors and outdoors for everyone to relax. The restaurant also has plenty of parking available and a lovely grassy area for children to play on. I've heard they also have rooms upstairs, although I have not personally stayed there.

A lovely family orientated pub serving excellent food. The pub is fairly large so a good selection of tables, can be very busy though so expect to wait for a table, I have never had to wait more than 15 mins though. The staff are friendly and happy to have children dining. There is a large area to dine outside in the summer and a large green for children to play outside. The food is always good and the open chicken pie is always a favorite with my family.

Excellent little countryside restaurant. The food is well priced, aimed at families while keeping the quality of the meals high. Tends to be very busy on Saturday Sunday evenings, but excellent for lunch midweek grab a seat by the fire and enjoy an ice cold cider. Plenty of parking available (as there's no real pedestrian access from Stafford Rd) and the gardens are large and look beautiful in the summer months. Lots of space for kids to run around, and a very decent outdoor eating/drinking area.
