The Henry Root - Speisekarte

Having spent countless happy hours and evenings at the Henry Root since spring and summer, I really can highly recommend the place.

The Henry Root is a cute restaurant, with kitschy framed pictures along the walls (and a cheeky Queen Liz in the ladies loo) and cool fish-shaped water

Now, while the burger here is not bad, his patty, the absentness of soße and the missing Lustre mount that it was not as big as I hoped. from some reason I thought it was as delicious as henry's briefs, but maybe that was too much. Speisekarte ansehen

We had the beetroot and goat cheese salad and the pork belly. The salad was ok, it lacked texture not enough pine it's and a bit of flavour. The pork belly was absolutely dry, not good at all. The service was friendly but slow at times. We wouldn't go back to The Henry Root in a hurry.

I love this restaurant. it has such a community that starts all the time from native! I love this in a restaurant as there is something unique to him! I had the chicken liver pate and crab to begin, both delicious. for the net, I had that lammed with lenses. so delicious! definitely go if you want to eat a whole and chilled lunch.

Food was a little lacklustre with nothing really noteworthy. Three people ordered the same dish and it came in three notably different portions. The one thing that annoyed the most was the wine list. It read really well with a great selection but as we ordered we discovered many wines were no longer stock. Not in a hurry to go back. Speisekarte ansehen

last Sunday, my friend, and I shared the hunch for 2 with the yorkshire and kiss. it was delicious and delicate my daughter ordered the burger and claimed it was the most juicy burger she had ever eaten. she cleaned her plate. like us! the personal was attentive and understandable. we're going back to Mother's Day. we even take the very hard to please the future mother in law!

a small corner, right next to the open kitchen, looks like its ideal library from the 19th century, and the walls of the restaurant are covered in collections of scrap and cut. I think the author charles william donaldson who used the pseudonym henry root to publish a collection of fictional letters would have approved. the informal wooden tables were for space and private sphere only far enough apart without being too much spread and the lighting was comfortable dim while still allowing decent photos. Our visit to The Henry Root was a bit of a surprise visit. We were meant to be eating at Elleven Park Walk , an Italian restaurant on 11 Park Walk in West Brompton , but a power failure at the restaurant meant that we turned up only to discover that there was no food to be had. The restaurant was nice enough to comp us a glass of champagne for the inconvenience, but thereafter there was no point staying. 11 Park Walk use to be the home of Aubergine , a Michelin starred restaurant that closed in 2010. I had a disastrous meal at Aubergine in 2009 and it was just as well it closed as it seemed to be on its last legs. Two times unlucky. This address must surely be jinxed for me. Anyway, that...r...
