Food and service very good but noise level very noisey couldnt hear each other

I absolutely adored my experience at The Herbalist. It was my first visit to this restaurant, even though I have frequented The Potting Shed numerous times. The staff were fantastic and the food was incredible.

A great dining experience, will definitely be returning. Variety of menu choices, flavoursome food and first class service from friendly and knowledgeable staff who went the extra mile to make our evening enjoyable and memorable. Speisekarte ansehen

The Service and food choice was first class, the room was warm and well presented, the manager came over and chatted. overall; this was a very good experiace and i would recommend to everyone and definately eat there myself again.

only for a light lunch, but it was really good! we were seen fast, but not rushed. I ordered a simple chicken stable salad that was really amazing. the atmosphere was really good, and the decor was top notch. I'll be back to dinner soon.

We visited The Herbalist as a party of 12 and were very impressed with the service, choice of food and value for money. The drinks and orders were taken quickly and efficiently and we all enjoyed a pleasant afternoon. I would highly recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

Had a very nice lunchtime visit with family midweek in early January 2020. Not many customers so service was understandably fast but also very welcoming. Our first visit but have used other pub/restaurants in the Elite Pubs group. Food was very good, served with care and attention to detail. Will definitely visit again.

The restaurant was extremely slow, making it difficult to hear the waitstaff. The food was mediocre and the service was lacking. We were not checked on during our meal, it took a long time to get a drink, and our table was left with dirty plates for 20 minutes after we finished eating while the waitstaff deliberately ignored us.

We were not impressed with The Herblist. The service was average and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable, causing discomfort to our legs. The menu was identical to The Potting Shed. I ordered the same meal as I did at The Potting Shed, but when it arrived at the table, I thought it was a mistake and they had served me a starter instead. I left feeling very hungry. Kudos to The Potting Shed for their larger and more satisfying meals. We will not be returning to The Herblist. Speisekarte ansehen
