"restaurant we visited was understaffed. Unfortunately, one of our meals was served cold while the rest were only lukewarm. The flavors were good, and the staff apologized for the cold dish by bringing us some hot gravy to try to warm it up. Another dish had too much fat, making it inedible, but the staff was apologetic and replaced it. The restaurant itself was chilly, with many diners wearing coats. The staff tried to warm it up by relighting the fire when asked. Service was slow because there were only two people running the entire bar and restaurant."

It not a good start when the waitress can't guarantee that the vegan option has not got milk in it and needs to check with thr chef. Staff need more training.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The service was good, the food was delicious, and we were able to chat comfortably even after we paid our bill.

from entering to leaving the staff were pleasant and efficient, eating arrived in time and was hot and on a hot plate roasted potatoes were correct roasting not frozen and deep roasted. the opposite in which we sat was clean and welcoming. prices are comparable to others and it was a good value for what we were served, we will return very soon Speisekarte ansehen

A perfect place to have a long overdue catch up. Such convenient location for our group to meet up. Great car parking and pushchair ramps. Amazing comfortable seating and pretty views. Excellent waiter service who was very attentive plenty of great food choices at affordable prices. Beautiful real fires giving it a country ambiance. I will be highly recommending this venue to my friends and family.

Very disappointed when arriving as our table had been given to someone else despite our having a reservation then next let down was that there was only a very small menu selection available as their delivery lorry was late so at least half of usual items unavailable. Very nice chef managed to find a couple of steaks for two of our party other chose from reduced menu. Felt sorry for the staff as they were so apologetic but this not our first visit so this was a real let down this time.
