Ok place to drop in for a dram. It’s position in Port Ellen services it well. Bit pricy though.

Reserved a table 6 months ago. E-mail apparently not found. A promise was made to call. Nothing happens.

Lovely dinner with a inch of creativity with the traditional local staples. I would highly recommend the crab and peat smoked mussels entree which was delicious and the venison fruit pie with peat smoked mash and a whisky sauce. Also they feature décents wines (I know we are in whisky territory but we all need a break now and then! offerings are typical and appropriate with reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly but booking are essential to get in.
