The Lantokay - Speisekarte

Awful place. Waited for a hour for a disgusting meal. Everybody around us complaining about poor service. Staff rude and surely. Would have walked out if we had not paid.

Sticky tables, filled with dirty plates and glasses. When our drinks were delivered to our table, not much effort to remove the dirty crockery from the people before us. However, staff are lovely

The food that me and my wife had was not as hot as it should be. It may have been waiting to be served too long. I spoke to the waiter but he appeared to ignore me. He may have been wearing an earpiece He did swap one gravy boat. This was not adequate though. Speisekarte ansehen

You don’t have to expect too much from a Spoons, however we use this as a meeting and drinking place. Not sure about food but it’s about the only pub in Street that adheres to published opening hours and mostly have a decent selection of ales! Get to know the staff and your laughing.

Have to say how much we enjoyed our visit today. We meet up to have breakfast and lots of cups of tea!!! It was getting very busy today but everything was cleared away and tidied very quickly. Excellent bar staff i think manager served me (table 25! Very nice man. Thank you for a great breakfast aswell.

Came to enjoy a nice burger at my favourite spot in town which I normally consider a hidden gem in the heart of Somerset. Upon its arrival there were soggy burger crumbs on the side of the plate which I did not chose as an extra incase you were wondering. Such a shame that this once great establishment has sunk its way down here. Speisekarte ansehen

Dirty tables buried under piles of dirty plates and glasses, a 45 minute wait for cold tasteless food, all of the sauce and mayo bottles empty with no hope whatsoever of getting them refilled because the staff appeared blissfully unaware of the general state of the establishment even to busy to wipe the very sticky dirty tables, customers complaining, Spoons should never be this bad. Seriously avoid this one.

Horrified at the state of the place. Dishes piled high everywhere you looked, meals being delivered to tables with dirty dishes from previous costumes still on their. Found a table a moved to dishes from it, wiped with some wipes I had. Went to get a drink only to see the que, not enough staff behind the bar, then noticed food being sent back because it was cold. Decided to leave. Found the bear down the road. Fantastic place. This is the worst weatherspoons I've ever been in. Really bad management. Staff training needs to be improved.

We visited on a Saturday early afternoon, for a lunch. It was very busy, but we managed to get a table for 4 and ordered meals and drinks on the app. After waiting for 25 minutes, I went to the bar, to see if our order had got lost, as people were walking up to the bar and being served. I was told that there was a 30 minute delay, as only one server was making drinks ordered on the app for the whole restaurant. If I had ordered at the bar I could have had my drinks straight away. Our drinks arrived shortly after, two cold drinks and two empty cups for hot drinks. After we had got the hot drinks, I approached the kitchen to see how much longer for the food, to be told 5 more minutes. So appro... Speisekarte ansehen
