"We held a Celebration of Life here for our mother and Jude could not do enough for us. It was the first time we had visited this lovely pub. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. The event went well. Myself and my daughter both have food intolerances and Jude went out of her way to assure us that she understood and would make sure that there was no cross contamination in the kitchen. She even went out and bought us special vegan alternatives and kept our food away from everyone else 's food. Encouraged by this we held a second event this week for family after the interment of our mother’s and father’s ashes. This time my 8-yr. old granddaughter was present and she also has severe, multiple food allergies. As a family we rarely eat out due to these allergies. Once again Jude excelled herself. My granddaughter really felt safe and enjoyed the food that was cooked for her. We can definitely recommend this pub and Jude is an absolute gem along with all her friendly staff. Many thanks Jude. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we 'll be back!"

Called in again this evening... same great service, selection of beers and well cooked food Haven't been to this pub for more year's than I care to remember... and now I'm wondering why?... such a lovely local pub, where you're made to feel welcome by the great team behind the bar... everything if so comfortable and familiar... looking forward to my next visit Visited again this evening and had a meal with an old friend... Good food, well presented without a wait, and great value for money The Mega burger tasted as good as it looks

The beer at this restaurant is incredibly overpriced at £5.90 per pint for Thatchers or IPA. Other beers were slightly cheaper. The outside area where the food was served was dirty and there was no fresh running water for hand washing, with staff using bare hands to serve food. The staff were quite rude and pushy sales people kept asking us to buy candles and cookies for charity. We paid £10 entrance fee for what felt like a local businesses selling overpriced items to drunk customers while loud music played. Parking was full, so we had to walk 5 minutes for a spot. Overall, we will not be returning due to the rude staff and unsanitary conditions. There are no positive points to mention.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
