The pub has a nice appearance. They were able to modify the vegetarian bean burger to make it vegan, and it was delightful. The service was excellent.

Upon entering the pub, I was immediately hit with a strong odor reminiscent of old, stale flatulence. The smell was so unpleasant that I had to move outside and sit in the cold to escape it.

Me and my partner went in for an evening drink and I’ve never been in a more comfortable family run pub. The landlord gave us a very comfortable atmosphere and I will definitely be returning. A proper family pub where i feel very welcome and comfortable to bring kids. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped in for a few quick drinks on our way to watch The Hammers at The Emirates on Saturday. The restaurant was empty until an eccentric older woman came in and struck up a conversation with us, and then with herself. The atmosphere was intriguing, and it seemed like the kind of place we would revisit in the evening. Perhaps we'll come back next season if our team avoids relegation.

This is my Third time visiting this pub,could not fault one thing from drinks food and the exceptional service we received the staff were just so helpful and extremely friendly the presentation of the way the food was served was second to none we would highly recommend this pub will definitely be calling back when visiting London againThanks so much to The manager Think he said his name was John made our visit so welcoming Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart Fantastic place, will be telling all my family and friends..

Although this makes no mention outside of being just a restaurant, you are not made very welcome on a Sunday if you are only in there for a drink. The first thing you are asked is “have you reserved a table for lunch?” If you dare to sit at any of them without eating you are faced with whispers and glances as if they are looking for somewhere else to put you out of the way. On one of my visits with friends we were moved twice. Having said this if you are eating, the food is really good and you will probably not find a better roast dinner. They just need to work on their “bedside manner”. There are better pubs to visit if you just want a drink, but for food Speisekarte ansehen
