"What a delightful pub, full of atmosphere and good food. I just wish we had a pub like this in our local area in Bucks. I chose the cod which was perfectly cooked, but one small point, I would have preferred chopped chorizo instead of sliced. Only a tiny detail, I know. As we were away from home we noticed how much meat was on the menu. Clearly readily available plant based meals haven’t reached this part of the country."

I took my niece for a Sunday lunch. She said the best she has ever tasted. Presented appetisingly on the plate. Desserts wonderful too.

Delighted to see the pies on the Specials menu (our favourites). As always, wonderful food and drink, lovely staff and a great pub to spend the evening in.

Lovely place with an amazing menu and scenery! This place is cozy and inviting and we loved all of our food. We had the smoked haddock with Welsh rarebit and the Hereford burger which was delightful! Then for pudding we had sticky toffee pudding and brownie; both were excellent. Highly recommend this place.
