Brilliant little find just outside of Aberdeen. Very varied menu and the best roast beef I’ve had since moving to Scotland years ago! Staff were friendly and you can take your dogs in the bar area (exactly the same menu)

If you live in the area and haven't been to The Stack, do yourself a favor and go check it out. You won't be let down. We have been frequent visitors for the past few years and every time has been consistently great, if not exceptional.

We had a wonderful family celebration with a delicious lunch at this restaurant. Everyone in our group ordered something different from the menu and we were all very satisfied with our meals. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the food. Thank you for the great service!

Another superb meal at The Stack. This chef really knows how to put together a superb and varied menu. The BBQ and Asian styled dishes are our favourites and executed to a really high standard. Staff friendly and hardworking. Good gin and beer selection. Not...many better chefs in the region currently. Muchalls very lucky to have this restaurant and I hope it is well supported.

I was looking for a nice place to have Sunday lunch and remembered visiting this restaurant a few years ago. I decided to go back and it was a fantastic choice. The starters (scallops and calamari) were delicious, and the main course of roast beef with all the trimmings was excellent. We finished off the meal with two tasty desserts, a brownie and tarte tatin. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hidden gem, although there may not be much room left for another evening meal after enjoying such a satisfying lunch.

This was are last meal on the road home after travelling around Scotland. This meal was arguably our best meal of the whole trip, and we had some great food. We had the Squid starter and was very tasty. For my mane, I had the...Monkfish and Prawn Green Thai curry. This was one of the most authentic Thai curry that I have had outside of Thailand. The use of the right Basil and he nailed it. My wife had Scampi and probably the best triple cooked chips too. So many places now offer triple cut chips but most fail miserably, but not here they were top notch.

What a stunning restaurant this is, having visited on a Friday and Saturday night on a weekend break in the area. This was the highlight of the weekend break. The menu is fantastic and we never repeated any of the dishes but all that we...tried were superb. The Scallops in particular were stunning but everything was exceptional. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and all the staff were excellent on a busy Friday Saturday evening. Would visit the area again just to visit this outstanding restaurant. Highly recommend but based on how busy would advise booking ahead.

Invited here for a birthday lunch with my in-laws. Situated just off the so didn't have to travel too far outside of Aberdeen to get there. We were one of two dining parties at the restaurant, so there was plenty of room in the...dining area, even on a Saturday. Inside was nicely decorated with mounted photos of Scottish rural areas and a prints from local artists. I particularly enjoyed the background music, which was chilled out trip hop. Ordered scallops in Romesco sauce with chorizo as a starter, which I quickly demolished as the scallops were perfectly cooked with a nice balance of rich, mildly spiced flavours.
