Lovely local pub. Owners make you feel welcome. Lovely outdoor seating area to soak up the sun and have some drinks. Also have pool table and sports on too

Great outdoor area for summer pints. Old style but well maintained and clean interior. Decent choice of drinks. Menu reasonable sized and reasonably priced. Staff very keen to please.

We regularly eat here as it's our local pub. The food is really good value, comes in very large portions and is always fresh and really tasty. There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is everything you could wish for in a local pub. Speisekarte ansehen

The waiting staff repeatedly would not bring a menu to a table of 5 who were willing to pay for a meal, we asked for a menu and were greeted with ‘if you get one from inside’ from two separate waiting staff 10 minutes apart. For maybe £75 worth of food this seems silly for waiting staff not to supply menus?

I made a reservation at the New Inn for my father-in-law's wake and I can't speak highly enough of Mandy, Gareth, Emma, and all the staff working on Wednesday. The food was impeccable, catering to one gluten-free guest with a separate plate prepared. The service, as always, was excellent. Thank you to everyone at the pub who helped us celebrate his life.

Booked for Mother’s Day clearly very busy when we arrived. Good selection of drinks available, table was ready in time. Despite how busy it was food all came out well timed was cooked very well could not fault the food nor was their criticism from anyone else. I had heard that this was a fantastic spot for Sunday dinner, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Our server was delightful, the food was delicious, plentiful, and cooked just right. They were even willing to cook my beef a little longer for me, unlike other places where it comes out pink. Desserts were also excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent halloumi burger and Atlantic Pale Ale with a reasonably good atmosphere. Man holding court in the “locals area”, younger crowd in the beer garden and the old couples on their mobiles in the library corner (very appropriate). If the Hundred Eliminator was on the enormous TV I would have given a 5 mobile screen will do as I am sat with the oldies in the library corner. Well worth a visit.

Warm welcome at the bar was a good start and directed to a great table. Busy place with excellent staff friendly customers. We had roast dinners, one beef one lamb/beef combo. Accompanied by a range of fresh vegetables, lovely Yorkshire pudding, a side of super cauliflower cheese along with outstanding gravy. Top marks all round definitely worth a visit.
