"This has all the atmosphere of one of the original Black Country pubs. The menu fits the bill with various Black Country and pub favourites as well as special offers. Worth a 3 1/2 because of the lack fresh veg and the microwaved desserts. We went on a Sunday roast dinner only at £6.95 for a two course main and pudding . All of the group enjoyed their meat selection choice of beef, chicken or pork . Frozen veg carrots and peas a let down should have been fresh , two roast spuds we weren't happy to find a large bowl of roasters had been given away to those in the bar???? , mashed potato and a Yorkshire pudding. I had a piece of apple pie lovely lots of apple with custard, my wife had spotted dick lots of fruit and two others in the party had jam pudding. Not sure if they were home made if they were the were obviously warmed in the microwave. There's limited beers/ales 2 , lagers and ciders. They offer wines, non alcoholic and hot drinks but we found them expensive."

We have been visiting this pub for a while and there’s a reason we keep returning .theres a great and wide selection of food and drinks . The outside is lovely when the weather is hot and the pub is generally very family friendly .

Use the pub/restaurant regular for Sunday lunch and sometimes in the Evening but we took 2 friends with us for the Xmas Meal on the Friday evening Food was excellent and plentiful and our friends who hadn't been before loved it Thanks again for Great Food and Excellent Service : ! Sunday lunch was satisfactory. Small meal. Frozen roasters, tinned veg, one person /4 had stuffin and no yorky, the rest had yorky no stuffin.. gravy was like water, meat was tasteless, portions were small and the coke was flat. Won’t go back for food again… on the other hand service was great from the younger blonde lady :

Visited we the family for a dinner while out and about and wow not disappointed, first off the pub it's self was done out lovely proper old school local pud , the barmaid lovely and very helpful the food as said it pub grub but in my ipythere are not enough local pubs doing proper pub grub they all try to be fancy and I like fancy but there is a place in the market for all sometimes it good to get back to basic and God this pub does that we went for the steak and scampi , cheese and onion baguette with chips and fish fingers and chip and bean for the Bab and apart fro the steak being a little over for my preference the food was spot on and prices are so reasonable as to are the vat prices as...
