A good Pub IMO. I had two breakfasts and two afternoon meals here. A good JD Wetherspoons pub with standard layout and excellent pricing. Good food, good beer, good service.

In Winchester on a business trip, spoon’s is always a good call. Ordered a full size grill pint at the bar, food arrived in less than 10 mins. Onion rings were a tad greasy but the rest was spot on. Good value meal

A couple of weeks ago the food was cold and a sorry for herself looking blonde girl in the Wetherspoons black chef suit was drinking almost the same time, she might have finished her shift before we ordered food but who knows. Speisekarte ansehen

Once again, a J.D Witherspoons house has lived up to expectations staff friendly food great and very quick. Only criticism I have was one of the male staff went to the toilet the same time as me and didn't wash his hands properly good job he was just collecting dirty dishes

I had fried buttermilk chicken burger . Chicken taste was DISGUSTING!!! Taste was washing liquid, literally DISGUSTING!! Definitely won't go there again!! They offered me free drink(funny) I asked them give me the other meal they said I can't get the other one because the I have alread started eating..Of course otherwise how I gonna will knows the taste.. well done Winchester wetherspoon!

Usual Wetherspoons, great beer at fair prices and acceptable food for the money. We visited en route to Southampton Cruise Terminal just before xmas. Although all of Winchester was rammed, we managed to find a parking place and a table here. It was very busy but our food arrived piping hot within the time stated when I ordered. Busy as always, and staff just keeping on top of it. As things calmed down service did not improve! Very scruffy staff who didn’t seem very interested in their jobs. One chap had long hair that was not tied back at all and he kept playing with it and then delivering food and drinks. It took 10 mins to get mugs and then later it took 10 mins to get a Guinness and there were plenty of staff behind the bar, and they were not busy. It’s a shame because we love Wetherspoons and visit them all around the country. Not one of the best here sadly.

Terrible service, food was cold, my friends steak wasn't cooked properly and was so cold that she had to send it back, twice as brought the wrong meal and I was waiting 20 longer than anyone else so had to eat on my own. When I did finally get my food after being brought the wrong meal my steak was almost inedible as it was mainly gristle. There was no flair or style to our meals, i think the chef should be ashamed. Staff were rude and unhelpful, when I went to discuss problem with one member he said so what's your problem, explained and was told if I wanted my money back I wouldn't get my food. This is a Wetherspoons so the menu was the same as similar pub restaurants across the country. However, there was a good selection with many offers available that included drinks (some of these offers vary each day). My friend and I ordered mains, both of which were well cooked and, most importantly, hot. My friend then suggested we had desserts and, although we were given a 20 minute waiting time, both desserts arrived within five minutes. My only concern was the actions of other customers that went unchallenged by the staff who were present. At a nearby table, a couple with a two or three year old child were also having lunch.
