As a NHS worker i was happy to see they adhered to the post lockdown rules. The food was amazing and staff were very helpful and a great bunch of people. Definitely the place to go for your mixy and pint.

Beautiful curry. If you are local and considering the lazy hill, I’d come here instead hands down. The railway lamb was unreal. Quality of food beautiful and the children loved their kids chicken tikka masala! Speisekarte ansehen

The food was very good but the wait for food was to long. 3 hours for 2 courses.not good at all as the place was eompty.Waited 5 minutes extra foor the last meal too come so everybody was waiting. Average review becaus the food was tasty.

The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional. We celebrated my husband's big birthday with our family and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, as always. The children loved the outdoor area. We can't praise this place enough!

Not been in here for awhile.It now has a new mainly Asian food menu with the odd bits of Chinese English offerings.Two real ales were available, they were ok.Inside looks refreshed, smarter, modern feel than I remember it being.The beer garden was busy, benches on the grassed area some under the canopy covering. Four of us ate at the Old Swan last night 5/9/20. It's changed hands since we last visited some years ago and we were very impressed both with the food, the customer service and the covid safety. We all opted for various Curries, rice, nans and chilli chips, all the food was perfectly freshly cooked and despite the restaurant being full the food came quickly, very friendly atmosphere and attentive staff team, we will be back. Thanks for a lovely evening.

I recently had the best Lamb curry I've ever had in a long time at this restaurant. The Panjabi lamb curry had delicious meaty pieces and the sauce was incredibly tasty. I would definitely order it again! The meat and vegetable starters were also excellent with generous portions. The service was quick and the staff had a friendly and helpful attitude. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was a nice play area in the garden for kids. Overall, a great dining experience.

My family and I visited the Swan pub with relatives from America. We were delighted to find a picture on the wall of their grandmother as May Queen, who had lived in Stonnall. The manager, Amrick, was incredibly helpful and found the picture for us, even giving it to my niece to keep. She was thrilled! We enjoyed a drink in the beautiful beer garden, which had plenty of tables that were not visible from the road - a pleasant surprise. Although we did not have a meal due to our tight schedule, we noticed how spotlessly clean the kitchens looked from our vantage point at the bar. We will definitely return to try the food next time.
