"I needed somewhere close to Weldon to pick up Fish Chips. My daughter searched on Google and found The Old Village Fish Chip Shop'. It was easy to find on the high street and there was plenty of roadside parking. The food was...freshly cooked to order and well worth the wait. [They serve Gluten free on Mondays] The gentleman was very friendly and accommodating as i requested each person's order in separate polystyrene boxes [which also kept them hot]. We had fish, battered sausage, plain sausage, fishcake, chips and peas. All of which were cooked to perfection. I have not had such tasty chips in ages. Great find and we will definitely be returning. [seating was also available for those that want to eat in' Many Thanks"

Food cooked to order with excellent service meeting any special requests. Very generous portions of really fresh fish, not overcooked, with crisp, golden chips. Have them every week.

this was a big chippy earlier, but after tonight I will not recommend it and not use it again. the fish was over boiled and hard. kartoffeln fritters were the worst and smallest I've ever seen. total waste of money!

This Chip shop is a great find. great well cooked food. I particularly like the fact you can sit down and eat your hot fish and chips with a cup of tea. The owner is very professional and homely. I will definitely come back. Speisekarte ansehen

I have ordered the munchy box amazing that I have been worried about the deep-fried pizza because it could keep a lot fat, but the black pudding and haggis were the best I had for years. the meal could easily feed two people without problem

Chip-Shop has changed hands, that was a number chippy. it is now terrible, fat eating, ordering wrong, not helping staff, eating is shocking bad, hard chips full of fat standing behind the frit picking chips and eating them, unhygienic only bad eating

The best fish, chips and sides I've had in years.... outstanding and so clean. This is a proper chip shop with the quality you only normally find at the seaside.. Well I can only say that when I'm shopping in Corby I won't bother going...anywhere else in future. Truly delicious.
