"Absolutely vile vegan food. Chef clearly despises the existence of vegans as he's ripping them off and selling them what might be dog food from the 90s. In all seriousness, their entire menu is uninspired and made up of frozen and canned food they buy for pittance and sell as if five star. Head up the road to burger king if you want something made with care and attention because this food is not. Salad on the plate is all cheap watery tomatoes and poorly cut red onion slices. I actually feel embarrassed I ate here. AVOID!"

Lovely spot for sunday lunch! Large portions, hot food, sensible price. For a regular pub, this sunday roast was one of the best i’ve had around. The service was quick and great. Will come again.

Awful and overpriced food. All food way too expensive for what arrived but the vegetarian options were utterly appalling, avoid!! Lovely looking pub, friendly bar staff, they just need someone who can cook.

An appalling ploughman’s lunch. As per a previous review, disappointing small cheese pieces, an old bit of stilton, a hard boiled egg which is not really suitable for a ploughman’s and very poor fatty ham. All for £16. Speisekarte ansehen

Had a family meet here with 30 of us , had a great buffet was set out perfectly . We was booked in but the pub was still very busy with other diners and drinkers but the staff was amazing , very attentive and made our day perfect . Thank you all so much !! Amazing place highly recommend !!

Pretty pub from the outside but that’s all I can say that is positive. My mum and I ordered a ploughman’s well, hardly any cheese, the ham was so fatty and veiny I couldn’t eat it. Bread was ok but not what you’d expect for a ploughman’s. Apple was brown, no coleslaw, tiny bit of lettuce garnish. All in all not a great lunch and it’s not cheap. Asked if we could have more cheese that would be an extra £2.50 for about 2 bites
