Nice pub very friendly, great for a few pints after work. Does food too which is pretty tasty . This pub has recently been refurbished as well so looks modern and fresh.

This charming pub is located in a beautiful area. The staff are all very welcoming. I visited for Sunday Lunch and the friendly young man who served me made me feel right at home. Came here on Sunday my partner had a beef dinner and my daughter had a turkey dinner. Both looked lovely portion sizes very generous I decided to try something new and had the garlic and Stilton baked chicken it was gorgeous but I didn't expect anything less from our local. Fantastic as always guys thank you.

We went for Sunday dinner during the summer. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were taken care of and checking on our food. The portion sizes were large and the food was delicious pub fare. The only downside was that the pub and toilets were dirty, giving off a vibe that it had been a busy Saturday night. I had the gammon and the thick-cut meat was tasty, so no complaints there.

We traveled from London for a family funeral and were recommended to try The Plough. This interesting pub with a rich history was fairly empty on a Wednesday night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with lovely decor. We ordered simple meals quickly, as we were all quite hungry. We requested scampi and chips twice, as well as an omelette and chips. It took a while for our meals to arrive, but when they did, we were disappointed to find two plates of dark brown, overcooked scampi and three portions of burnt, bitter-tasting chips.
