Great food. Friendly service. Really good place to meet up. Had the steak and cadron peppers and a wonderful fig crumble desert.

The food at the pub was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Spoke to one of the staff called Ross who was welcoming and helpful and overall we had a great experience. Will definitely be back!

Really nice atmosphere and pleasant bar staff. The food was decent enough, but 3 out of 4 things we originally wanted weren't available so that was a shame. The salt beef slider was a bit tough but otherwise the food was nice. Speisekarte ansehen

I had a terrible experience at my work Christmas party. The food was low quality and the service was not much better. The courses were served far apart and at different times. They even forgot to serve dessert - I might still be waiting for it next Christmas.

We arrived and were handed a very extensive menu only to be told that there were only two items available burgers! We waited over 40 minutes to be served extremely average food with inedible chips they were so greasy! There was no apology and quite frankly it felt like too much trouble! Never again!

Truly terrible. There were hardly any staff working during a busy Sunday lunch service, and the food was incredibly bland. It's hard to understand how they can label it as 'the ultimate roast' when it lacked seasoning, flavor, and was not even reasonably priced. We were visiting from Texas in early April 2023 and staying in the neighborhood so we popped in randomly for dinner one evening. I certainly was not expecting to have one of the best meals of our 4 week trip, but The Plough really delivered! We ordered food and drinks at the bar before sitting down in a cozy table in the corner. Our server was extremely friendly and accommodating, making some excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The chefs that night were on fire, they had some serious kitchen skills in the house. They knocked it out of the park with the hamburger and fries as well as the chicken wings easily some of the best I've ever had.

The outside of this fantastic pub may not make a great first impression, but the interior is a pleasant surprise. With ample space, charming rustic decor, and comfortable seating, it offers a wide selection of draft beers. My friends and I all tried different burgers, and they were all incredibly tasty. However, the highlight of our experience was our server, Jovana. She was not only charismatic and funny, but also knowledgeable and efficient. Despite a work-related injury, she provided us with 5-star service that rivaled any top hotel in London. Thank you, Jojo, for your exceptional service. We look forward to returning in the hopes of being taken care of by you once again.

I used to consider this place as my local pub and was very happy with the service (see my review in 2017). I recently went with a friend and we had to wait 1 hour and 30min for lunch as nothing was ready. The pub was empty and the staff very young and unexperienced: they absolutely didn 't have a clue. There was a limited selection of food and the quality was average. Basically, we waited 90min for snacks (no mains or complicated dishes). Nobody seemed to care, a part from the poor young waitress who kept saying: sorry, I 'm only 20 years old . We felt sorry for her, the problem was the non-existent management. Such a shame as the atmosphere is lovely, but if this is the standard of service,... Speisekarte ansehen
