The staff were really friendly, and there was a great selection of real ales. We didn't dine there, but the food certainly seemed appealing.

I stayed here for a night before my cruise and everything was perfect. I can't find any faults. Rooms: 4 stars, Service: 5 stars, Location: 5 stars. Hotel highlights: Excellent value.

We had lunch at the Prince Consort, the food was wonderful, fresh nicely cooked and tasty. I am a disabled Lady and I was treated kindly and with respect. My Husband and I are both looking forward to returning in the near future.

Super friendly staff, top quality ta food and super comfy rooms. We really could not have asked for more, the staff went above and beyond. We had a wonderful warm welcome and the facilities in the rooms were everything we could need. Would definitely recommend and if we are ever back in that neck of the woods we would absolutely stay again. Rooms: Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate making facilities. Shampoo, shower gel and hand soap provided with plenty of towels. Bed was super comfy!! Food drinks: The food was amazing! Piping hot and cooked fresh. Felt like proper home cooking.
