A real gem of a pub with lovely staff and good food. Limited parking however, but there is a nearby lane which is handy. Service: 5 Location: 5

Our time here was wonderful! Great service, and the rooms are large and clean. A reminder: there are two flights of stairs to your room. Our breakfast was included in the price of our room, and we liked the variety of food. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Stayed here with my partner and our dog. Loved the place. Room was big and spotlessly clean, breakfast was perfect and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Loved the pub downstairs. No food was being served other than breakfast when we stayed. We tried the Indian upstairs which was lovely and also ate at the bulls heads just up the road. We will be back. Rooms: 5

to stay here recently and it is the perfect location for hiking/hiking around the summit. the room was brilliant and had everything we needed. very spacious and the beds were comfortable. grey has changed my request for a double into a twin. we did not eat here, but we had breakfast and it was enough to set ourselves up for a day of hiking. I will stay again, even if the stairs at the top almost make her legs fall haha

we've been immersed there on the way to the lake district. there were 11 of us overall, so everyone ordered quite different dishes. we were absolutely amazed at how good it was eating, taking into account that we thought it was just an ordinary English pub. we have tried the dishes each other and each one was great! honestly could not believe it! if I will be back in the opposite, I will definitely visit this place again! highly recommended!
