The Red Lion - Speisekarte

I have spent many nights here for Round Table meetings and drinks. It's a classic pub with a great restaurant and hotel.

To be fair, the service was outstanding during my recent visit. The food met the expected standards, and the decor was lovely. We weren't hurried at all and were able to relax and enjoy our meal in peace. I will definitely return.

We ate there yesterday as a couple with a little baby. Unfortunately, the food was so tasty we forgot to take a photograph. Jana was a helpful and excellent waitress. We ordered the gammon roast which catered for my gluten allergy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Always busy on the weekends and after the £250k refit it seems to be struggling a bit. The restaurant is rarely full and unless it is the evening the bar is pretty empty. Food's not bad, management are somewhat terse and disinterested. Outside area is nice in the evenings although it is right on Watling Street and has a bit of a slope to it in parts you want to get a decent place to sit.

This pub was incredible. Very accommodating to me and my aunt with two service dogs. Polite and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Staff showed us to a table and bought a bowl of water for our dogs. Staff even came over to stroke the dogs and bought over a dog bed for them to rest on. We stayed at The Red Lion with our friends and family for our wedding in Shenley, and Carolyn, Dan, and their team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole weekend! The food was delicious, the rooms were cozy and clean, and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The staff was always eager to answer our questions, provide us with everything we needed, and they made us feel extremely welcome! We highly recommend this place, especially for those looking for a true British weekend experience, complete with a cozy pub, a lovely British breakfast, and excellent beers. After a long flight in economy, complete with loud kids, animals, and lackluster service, arriving in the UK and taking a quick train ride to Radlett was just what I needed. Enjoying a superb Full English Breakfast at 8 AM, along with a chilled pint of lager, felt like a fantastic reward. I dined alone and had the entire dining room to myself, which undoubtedly improved the service, but the food was impressive as well! I visited The Red Lion with family (Grandmother, aunts, uncles, brother) for casual drinks on a Saturday night. We arrived after 8pm. This bar/restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We found a table to accommodate all 8 of us. It felt like a real homely place. The staff were friendly or so I thought... It came to about 9:30pm when I decided to get the next round of drinks for my grandmother and brother. I asked my brother to come to the bar with me to help. We are close in age.
