"My evening at the Royal Oak Was pleasant but Service was very slow. Waiting quite a while to be served and when served orders were not out through properly which meant we was waiting for food which we thought had been ordered but it hadn’t. With no app to order off, it was quite hard to get the attention of the staff when the music was quite loud and we was tucked away in the corner so not in eye vision. On the other hand All the staff was lovely and the booking process was easy. Very accommodating."

Veg wasn’t great as only given cabbage but service was fantastic and staff were super helpful and apologetic. Food was lovely.

Our meal was really tasty and good value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive without overdoing it. this is not the last time we will eat here.

A three course meal took about two hours in total, which I think is excessive? Stale roasties, pancake flat Yorkie. But the starter was incredible and the beef was to die for!
