"I've eaten here a number of times. It's menu is comprehensive and the food good. However this review is for the accommodation. It's a beautiful old building in which to say. I was in the spacious en suite room. I love the fact that its old character remains. It hasn't been turned into a bland corporate hotel look that so many pubs have copied. Currently they are not doing breakfast but at £65/night I think it's a bargain. However you are staying in a very popular drinking pub so if you don't like a bit of noise this may not be the place for you but to me it adds to the atmosphere!"

Fabulous place just called in on the off chance for lunch Family of 6 adults and dog, Lovely garden area Quick service lovely staff! Food was delicious all had different meals deep fried breaded butterflied tiger prawns were beautiful Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!

I have had lunch at this restaurant several times now and it never disappoints. The tomato soup is the best I have ever had and my husband raves about the burger. The atmosphere is wonderful and we will definitely be bringing our friends there for dinner soon. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect rating of 5.
