The Ship - Speisekarte

Wonderful food well cooked and presented, and great value for money will definitely eat at the Ship again.

Four family members went for a meal. All had different choices from the menu and all enjoyed what they had. Two steaks were cooked as ordered. We were seated by the entrance to the conservatory and garden and found it a bit chilly.

Lovely attentive staff, the bar and restaurant all looked clean and tidy. The food was OK, nice enough and good enough portions but nothing overwhelming (though this may have just been what we ordered Still for a nice reasonably priced local evening out it was...an ideal venue.

Came for a roast one afternoon. Food was average and slightly overpriced. Customer service left something to be desired. Also not accessibility friendly, very narrow corridors with the wheelchair touching both sides of the walls so no room for movement and also filled with boxes...that we had to move in order to take one of my family members to the disabled toilet.

To tell you the truth, we wont be going back. It is a lovely pub/resturant, decor wonderful, owners wonderful, but the food just let our experience down, unfortunately. We were a party of 4, each having, starter, main and desert, and not one of the...meals were wow just ok. So for us to go back, 1. they need to have more choice on their memu, and 2. lower the prices considerably.

we stay at the holiday park of marlie so we were looking for somewhere to eat and like the view of the menu. we were glad that we visited the dame behind the bar that offers a beautiful service that brings our drinks to the table. we ordered both steak and were impressed by the food. my son had sausage duo, which was a child's meal, good quality was created. will definitely visit again thanks for a nice experience.

the food was good, and the restaurant was clean and pleasant. However, the female employee had no idea how to treat customers, our asking were ignored and there was no excuse for the wrong ordering of the drinks, only one comment from .have she touched it then she went back with the right drink and without a single word it put on the table and went away. there was no greeting, no conversation and no interest in us whatever the minute we went through the door. as a shame as his nice pub, we will not return.

we met with our two young children at lunchtime at a visit to new romney. the waitress who served us had an abrupt attitude and it seemed what we asked of her was an angry one. we ordered bree broken cadry baskets that were £9 and, quite honestly, the money was not worth. they were fish fingers and a few pommes. when we visited a few months ago, I remember how their meals were great worth for money unfortunately, that is no longer the case with the new menu in place. it brings us to the visit in the future.

Had booked a table for a Sunday roast! Disappointed as there was no chicken as a choice of meat on the Sunday roast menu!!! Therefore, as I don’t eat Pork, Beef or Lamb had to choose from the standard menu! Partner had roast beef dinner,...very small portions, had 3 roast potatoes and only 2 medium slices of beef!!! There was a nice variety of vegetables and a large Yorkshire pudding with gravy! However just not enough for an adults meal! And expensive for what you got! Very little atmosphere and was not very welcoming. Did not come over to us to check everything was ok during the meal! Felt very disappointed and will be checking in future that where we go for a Sunday roast does have a chic...
