"As locals, we are thrilled to see The Stag reopen. We visited last night for our second meal in the two weeks since the owners started serving food. Steve and Oliver have worked hard to make the pub look stunning, and they have found an incredible Chef in Scott. The food on both occasions was impeccable, well presented, and absolutely delicious. The homemade beer bread and white chocolate fudge with chocolate soil were delightful touches. Congratulations to Steve and Oliver, we eagerly anticipate many more meals at The Stag."

We absolutely adore this pub! It strikes the perfect balance - it's warm and inviting with stunning decor. Steve and Oliver are always polite and welcoming, and they constantly have a diverse menu catered for all tastes.

What an absolutely gorgeous pub!!! The owners managed to modernise it elegantly while keeping its beautiful and ancient history. Had a delicious meal and spent a wonderful evening there just soaking up the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

large pub, sensitively restored. very good atmosphere, eating and perfect selection at local ales. the renters went far and beyond to help us with some additional questions we had to finish. we will stop there at the passage definitiw. highly recommended!

My experience at this restaurant was so memorable and inviting that I had to come back. The owners, Steve and Oliver, are incredibly sweet. The little personal touches, atmosphere, and food were all wonderful. I will definitely be returning. Even though it's a bit of a drive from home, it has become one of my favorite places to go xx
