I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while cruising along the Grand Union Canal. We docked by the lock and strolled up the lane to the nearby shops. What a hidden gem we found! This traditional curry house is impeccably clean and has a cozy atmosphere with charming dining booths. The owner, who has run the business since 1980, provided excellent service. The extensive menu caters to all tastes. We were delighted by the arrival of ice-cold Kingfisher beers, followed by crispy poppadums and generous portions of pickles and sauces. Discovered this place by accident whilst boating up the Grand Union canal, mooring up by the lock and walking up the lane to the shops. What an utter gem; a spotlessless clean old school curry house with an immaculate interior and cosy dining booths. We were waited upon by the charming proprietor, who's owned the business since 1980. The menu is massive and all tastes are catered for. The arrival of two bottles of ice cold Kingfisher beers boded well, and was soon backed up by the arrival of popadums and copius chalices of pickles and sauces not the homeopathic portions so common nowadays.
