The pub is charming and the dinner was delicious. Parking can be limited, but there is a public car park nearby by the roundabout.

Tuesday night is quiz night, so you can catch happy hour, dine and then quiz which beats staying home to watch the tv especially as dogs are made so welcome too! Lovely evening we'll be back!

Perfection in a pub. Faultless service, varied menu that isn’t too overwhelming, incredible food, thoroughly recommend the Beef Ale Pie, the Pistachio Soufflé the deluxe Hot Chocolate. Very reasonably priced for such excellent food. Speisekarte ansehen

We made a last-minute Sunday lunch reservation and were blown away by the incredible roast beef! We loved that we could order extra gravy, roasties, and Yorkshires. The service was excellent and we definitely plan on coming back soon!

Really interesting and different menu Great service from all staff, always made sure we had drinks and everything we needed. Food was really tasty Great atmosphere and was fully booked on a Friday night. Would recommend this pub and will be back!

Superb soufflés cheese for one starter and pistachio for a sweet light, fluffy and delicious. All thoroughly enjoyed starters and sweets. Great tasty pie and pork. Ambience ,the food and service were all exceptional, well done you all. The staff were polite , friendly, helpful and attentive. Every dish we has was fab. The cheese soufflé and goats cheese tart were both well presented and tasteful. Main courses of duck and the beef pie…great and a great finish with crepe brûlée.

My experience at the restaurant was exceptional. We used some Virgin Experience vouchers that were gifted to us for a 3-course set menu. The food was fantastic! I started with a cheese souffle, followed by pork belly for the main course, and I enjoyed every bite. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, cozy and overall a wonderful experience. We are looking forward to returning for a roast in the future.

Love this place. Attentive staff and great food. We had the fish soup to start and it was delicious. Mains were the lamb roulade and the sausage and mash. Faultless. Too full for a dessert so we rounded off with coffee. The only criticism was that the latte was served in a glass. It should have been a thermal glass so that I didn't need to burn my hand to drink the latte. Either that, or a cup with a handle. Speisekarte ansehen
