A great Burns Night with Haggis and Cranachan!! The black pudding scotch egg was awesome Ben! Loved it all..... a fantastic night with friends, poetry and Bagpipes!!!

Just had a fantastic roast dinner, everything was fresh. Followed by homemade jam sponge and custard which was lovely. Friendly staff and nothings too much trouble. Would highly recommend

A terrible evening spoilt but poor food which was cold and small portion. Dished up in a dirty metal bowl that looked like it should have been used to give dogs water. Mean mean mean and very poor quality Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely food, we had the mixed cheese ploughman’s and it was perfect, plenty of cheese. We also had puddings, spotted dick homemade and I had the waffle with ice cream . Everywhere was clean and the service was spot on. Good selection of drinks also. We will be back

The worst thing about this was the service an hours wait for food! I enjoyed my meal but other members of the party’s food was slightly tepid. Unfortunately nobody checked back with us if everything was ok with our meals. On the plus side it was nice to try somewhere different but not sure we’d return.

Enjoyed lunch after a walk here from Brighstone. Nice and warm and the dog made welcome. Friendly staff and the food very good. Tasty sirloin steak and homemade treacle tart with custard. We had a Price is Wight voucher. The staff made sure that we were served promptly so that we didn’t miss our bus home. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a lovely meal here last week. My husband had steak which was beautifully cooked. He said the chips were the best he had ever tasted. My prawn ploughmans was also very nice. I could not resist Eton Mess as a pudding and again it was one of the best and I have tasted a lot). We would highly recommend people pay The Sun Inn a visit. We will return soon.

After hearing great reviews on the food here, we decided to pay a visit for Sunday roast, and it didn't disappoint. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived, with friendly efficient service. We all had roasts and the food was lovely and tasty, with extra gravy and even asked if we would like some more. Lovely atmosphere in the pub too. Will definitely recommend to family and friends, can't wait for our next visit.

My freind had eaten his food before mine didnt ever arrive. Appalling service, lazy distracted staff all totally disorganised Arrogant unapolagetic management will soon learn that customers vote with their feet. Last weeks nut roast was raw in the middle but I was so pleased there was a vegan menu I didnt complain. Best part of tha meal was the fresh carrots. Will not go there until they change hands again Such a shame, the last owners had built up a brilliant reputation over years of hard work for really good freshly made vegan food.
