Happened upon the Horse and Groom whilst exploring the island with my family and it’s an absolute gem! Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food is great traditional pub food. Perfect for our young children. Would 100% recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

We love visiting thia pub whe we are on the island. Its super dog friendly. Absolutly fantastic ! the staff were both friendly and helpfull and the food was 10 out of 10 ! The starters and main course and desserts were extreemly tasty and definately better than described ! Very big portions and full of flavour, we had the hunters chicken and steak, the mushrooms were extra but VERY tasty and highly recomended ! Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely food and people. We popped in to see what it was like having driven past it numerous times on other holiday (usually with a dog). Really good menu, food and very friendly. My mom never finishes a meal, cleared her plate! She also never has dessert but cleared that plate too. Will be definitely be back especially as I now know it is dog friendly

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was exceptional, easily deserving of a full five stars. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, earning a solid four stars. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank!

The ambiance is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the menu offers a fantastic selection at very reasonable prices. The food is of high quality and expertly prepared; I had the Jäger Huhn, which was incredible, and the desserts were simply amazing—especially the rice pudding, which was out of this world! Although we're only here for a week, the Horse and Groom is a hidden gem that we'll be returning to frequently during our stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Speisekarte ansehen
