The Terrace Cafe - Speisekarte

Queue to order, 20mins........then waited 34 minutes for food! would have helped to have been told of delay Baked potato ok, chilli rice cold,all day breakfast missing eggs and lasagne burnt. Process seemed inefficient and poor experience for us.

After driving for 4 hours for work, I decided to try this restaurant because it looked nice. However, the employees at the register were very rude and refused to give me a table. I felt personally targeted because of my skin color. I have never felt so uncomfortable before.

Special was fish and chips....it wasn't Special at all....very over deep fried piece of battered frozen fish possibly iceland Special.....hardly any fish in it as been over cooked .... We went to this restaurant for lunch. They offer typical cafe dishes like sandwiches, toasties, and jacket potatoes. You need to order at the counter, but they bring the food to your table. The restaurant has a modern, bright, and airy atmosphere. The food is decent and the prices are fair.

Went for breakfast today disappointed with service. Ordered a full English black pudding was missing, when we told the waitress she said it was on its way. 15mins later no black pudding, she kept looking over to our table too so I’m sure she was aware the black pudding hadn’t been received. For the price and service, I’d rather go to Wetherspoons.

Due to the very wet weather conditions today we decided to try this establishment again, rather than brave the dash across the car park to go home for lunch. The meal proved to be excellent both in terms of quality and quantity. Service was very friendly, if a trifle slow. If the scones have improved since our previous negative review, we will certainly be back. Speisekarte ansehen

After a previous disappointing visit we thought we would give the benefit of the doubt and try again. This time unfortunately I can’t comment on the food as we were just ignored and left after not even being acknowledged for 25 minutes. This place is so busy in a fantastic location but could be so much better if the staff were organised and deployed in their own sections rather than trying to cover the whole area. Will not be giving it a third try.

My wife and i went to the Terrace Cafe to have a Sunday dinner, firstly we were sent to table 21 which was occupies and then to another table waited 20 minutes nobody came then a couple with a young baby sat down on the next table, within 5 minutes they were served, my wife and i looked at each other and said lets go and left. Now this is not the first time this has happened but the second time, we looked around while waiting and there were plenty of waitresses but did not seem to be able to coordinate, my advice would be to employ a restaurant manager to coordinate the waitresses.

Went out for a lunch catch up and considered a few different places to visit, but decided on the terrace. It turned out to be a mistake. We were told where to sit and placed our order, which the waitress took to the counter. She then came back and asked us to pay before even receiving our meal. The drinks were served, but the coffee was lukewarm. My friend had the friendly sweet chilli wrap, but it lacked chilli flavor. I ordered the jacket potato with bacon, Brie, and cranberry, but couldn't taste the cranberry and the potato was just okay. After finishing our food, we sat for 45 minutes without any staff checking on us or asking if we needed anything else. The staff seemed more interested... Speisekarte ansehen
