"Very convivial atmosphere. Food was well presented and delicious. Not sure I’d ever serve calamari with tartare sauce it really doesn’t work! That said, even without the sauce, the calamari were crisp and tasty. Our meals were generously portioned, and well served. A very pleasant young woman served us, and we would definitely go again. Parking: We dined early, so parking was available on the street opposite the restaurant. Service: Dine in"

"After exploring all the cafes in the village of Bingham, my partner and I were amazed by the menu displayed on the cafe window here. With Greek inspired breakfasts and lunches, we knew we had found something special. The chef and waitress went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan requirements, which I was extremely impressed by. The portion sizes for the omelette and gyroks were generous and offered great value for money. We also enjoyed delicious smoothies and 200degree coffee with no complaints. We believe we have discovered our new favorite local cafe. Thank you to the staff at the cafe for a wonderful dining experience! - Rob Liss"

"I usually can't flaw it at the piano. it's delicious and we often had more out of there, everything I've ever eaten was wonderful. to today. the breakfast was terrible. everything was cold except the pommes. we both had hard kicked. eggs on our No.2 breakfast, which contain at almost £10 any extras such as tomato, mushrooms, hash-browns or black pudding etc. the only extra was something pommes. yes, a coffee and an orange juice were included in the hefty price tag, but I personally would have preferred better and hotter food. we had not even a choice of white or brown brot! my tante had ordered a slender egg on toast, the slender eggs were gummy and so sparingly they were not everywhere near the rand of the toast. as the cook thought it was acceptable to use this and to charge almost £5 for it is beyond me. we even had to climb halfway through the meal to remind the waitress to bring our orange juice. we told the waitress that our breakfast was cold and she said that she would comment on the cook, but we didn't hear anything else. I will not return to the early part to the piano. it is obviously not her forte and I would not recommend it unless they are happy to pay almost one tenner for a basic no frills, hardly warm brekkie!"

"We attended as part of a family celebration for 50 people on Sunday.The bar ran out of soft drinks which was grossly understaffed , 30 minute queues and produced atrocious buffet food. Please avoid this pub. : it’s not centred on your experience. You are just cash, to be exploited and served when they choose. DO NOT HAVE FOOD HERE. We left and went to Sainsbury’s which was far better even eaten in the car. I hope the owner gives the host a refund for the food. If they don’t , it’s testament to a cash first pub."

"I was taken by some friends as a thank you for all the time I spend looking after their property when they are away. They had been before and really hyped it up. I have never been so disappointed in a meal. It was like going to a Michelin starred restaurant and being served something from the local takeaway. The place is beautiful but my meal did not live up to what I anticipated . I know I should have complained but did not want to upset or embarrass my friends. I ordered the linguine pescatore as I love fish of all kinds. I honestly would not have served that in my home. The only flavour was the huge amount of parmesan put on it. The prawns were the miniscule frozen ready cooked ones. There were about 6 small pieces of squid and as for the mussels, there were 9 of which 2 were empty shells, 1 which hadn't opened and the rest minute and dry. There was no chilli, no olives and no sign of caper paste. Don't know where the wine was and about 4 cherry tomatoes. The pasta was over cooked and stuck to itself. I know an espresso coffee is small but I have never had so little coffee in one ever. To say the least this will be my first and last visit."
