Popped in after a lovely walk on Tweswldown for a drink and something to eat. Food was great and a good selection.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service at this restaurant—it was truly unexpected to receive such a high level of attention. The food was also quite delicious. The staff had great energy and seemed to anticipate our needs; I never had to ask for anything, as they were always on top of it. The food was amazing, and everyone was well taken care of with drinks. The team was friendly and attentive, which really put my mind at ease. I would absolutely recommend this place, especially for the upcoming anniversary celebration with a steam engine theme. It could be our own unique experience!

I visited today with a friend for lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A cosy warm atmosphere in the pub. The menu offers a good choice of food with a separate specials menu. I choose a steak and ale pie with mash and veg which came with a jug of gravy. It was very delicious. My friend choose a different pie but we were both very happy and satisfied with our meals. We didn't have a dessert because we were both very full. We will be returning to sample sonething else on the menu.
